As per the storyline described in the teaser video, Sniffer is an extinct overworld mob that can be brought back with its rare eggs. Once the sniffer egg hatches, it spawns a baby sniffer which later grows into an adult. Then, the sniffersearches for hidden seedsby sniffing the ground.

Moreover, as confirmed by developers in the blogpost, the arrival of the Sniffer might also signal the addition of new and unique plants to the game. You will hate to wait for this new mob to find the rare seeds, which later can be planted to grow new types of plants.

These are passive tiny mobs that usually stay stationary as a statue. Then, when you wake it up, the Tuff Golemrandomly walks around and picks up any itemyou drop.

Similar to an Allay, the Tuff Golem can’t pick more than one item at a time. But, they will also be one of the most highly customizable mobs if you vote for them. Also, depending upon the type of wool you use in their construction, the Tuff Golem spawns wearing a matching cloak. Though, it’s unclear if they will act like a pet or whether they can find their way into some of thebest Minecraft farms.
